John Ryan, ’72, was presented with the Man of All Seasons award during the annual St. Thomas More Society of Indianapolis annual dinner and recognition ceremony. The event took place on October 5 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Indianapolis.

Ryan serves as president of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, a post he has held for three years. He was recently installed for another three-year term.

Ryan also served as Marion County prosecutor, corporation counsel and deputy mayor for the city of Indianapolis in Bill Hudnut’s administration and was the director for the department of child services under Indiana governors Mitch Daniels and Mike Pence, ’86. In addition, Ryan was a partner in the law firm of Ice Miller as well as a vice president at American United Life.
