David Najjar, '97, Appointed to Bench in Hamilton County

David Najjar, ’97, has been appointed to the bench in Hamilton County Superior Court 5. He succeeds Judge Wayne Sturtevant, ’77, who retired from the post in August.
Najjar served as a magistrate judge in Hamilton County since 2005. Prior to that, he was a deputy prosecuting attorney in the county from 1997 until he became a magistrate.
Judge Sturtevant was a deputy prosecutor in Hamilton County from 1980 to 1985, when he became the chief deputy prosecutor; he held that role until 1996. Sturtevant became a judge in 1997, where he served until he retired.
