IU McKinney Alumnae Named to 2017 IBJ's Women of Influence

A total of five of the 22 named to the Indianapolis Business Journal’s 2017 class for Women of Influence are alumnae of the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
Erin Albert, ’12, is a healthcare outcomes pharmacist for Myers and Stauffer, the founder of Pharm LLC and Yuspie LLC, co-host of the Pharmacy Podcast Network, and a prolific author who has a goal of writing one book a year. She’s also passionate about getting more women and girls involved in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Jennifer Alvey, ’04, is senior vice president and chief financial officer at Indiana University Health. She has served on the board of the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, the State Board of Law Examiners, and the IU McKinney Alumni Association.
Deborah Caruso, ’81, is a partner at the Indianapolis-based law firm, Rubin & Levin. She’s known as one of the best bankruptcy attorneys in the Midwest. Caruso serves on the board of governors of the Indiana State Bar Association, and the board of the Indianapolis Bar Association.
Marti Starkey, ’81, is a partner at the Indianapolis law firm, Harrison & Moberly. She has served or serves on the boards of the University of Evansville, Wheeler Mission Ministries, Indianapolis Bar Association, Indianapolis Ballet Theatre, and the Indianapolis Children’s Theatre. She also serves on the Uniform Law Commission.
Angela Wessler, ’02, is a partner at Barnes & Thornburg in Indianapolis. She’s the co-founder of Executive Women in Finance, and also is a member of IndyCREW, Dress for Success Indianapolis, and has taken part in the United Way of Central Indiana Leadership United program, and the Options program that’s part of the Women’s Fund of Central Indiana.
