Mauricio Videla, '12, Named a Top Lawyer Under 40 by Hispanic National Bar Association

The Hispanic National Bar Association has named Mauricio Videla, '12, one of its Top Lawyers Under 40 for 2018. The honors were announced February 14. Videla is an attorney and federal commissioned bank examiner with the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. He is a leader in the American Bar Association's Business Law Section where he currently serves as vice chair of the Young Lawyer Committee and young lawyer liaison to the Consumer Financial Services Committee. He also has served on the national board of directors of La Unidad Latina, Inc., and has been a program advisor and speaker for the Council on Legal education Opportunity.
"I am humbled by the HNBA's prestigious recognition and honored to join such a distinguished class of attorneys and community leaders," Videla said. "I am especially proud to have contributed to the great work of several legal and nonprofit organizations that actively seek to diversify the legal profession and empower underserved communities."
HNBA will present the honors at its Corporate Counsel Conference in San Francisco on March 16.
