BLSA Event Considers the 13th Amendment and the Prison Industrial Complex

Marion County Magistrate Judge Geoffrey Gaither presented a discussion of the "13th Amendment and the Prison Industrial Complex" as part of the Black History Month celebration at IU McKinney, sponsored by the Black Law Students Association. The event took place on February 13 at Inlow Hall.
The event was attended by IU McKinney students, IUPUI students, and the New Boy mentoring group from Indianapolis. Magistrate Judge Gaither is in the photo.
Other events planned in the month-long commemoration included a Black Women's Appreciation Celebration, and a networking opportunity, among others.
