John Krauss, '76, Moderates Hamilton County Government Leader Summit

John Krauss, '76, led the March 10 All City Council Summit for city councilors in Hamilton County. The event took place on March 10 at Riverveiw Health in Noblesville.
Krauss moderated the discussion among city councilors from Atlanta, Carmel, Cicero, Fishers, Noblesville, Sheridan, and Westfield. They talked about such issues as affordable housing, growth, mass transit, mental health, and the opioid crisis. A story about the event appeared on the Noblesville Times on March 12. Krauss is the former and founding director of the Indiana University Public Policy Institute, and is a former Deputy Mayor in Indianapolis, among other public service stints in his career.
Krauss is also Senior Advisor to the IUPUI Chancellor; Clinical Professor Emeritus of Public and Environmental Affairs; an attorney, mediator, and arbitrator at Krauss Group; and an adjunct professor at IU McKinney.
