Magistrate Judge Randy Coffey, '79, of the Steuben Circuit and Superior Court, is among 12 people who have applied to fill a seat on the Indiana Court of Appeals.
The seat will open with the retirement of Judge Michael Barnes, who previously announced that he will retire in June. Governor Eric Holcomb will make the final appointment after the nominating commission selects three names for consideration once the interviews are completed.
