Ryan Marques, '10, Attends Portuguese-American National Conference in Washington, D.C.

Ryan Marques, '10, Lewis Kappes attorney and Honorary Consul of Portugal to the State of Indiana, attended the inaugural Portuguese-American National Conference hosted by the Embassy of Portugal in Washington D.C. on June 23, 2018. The national conference covered three main subject areas: Integration of Portuguese-Americans in Public Office; Building Social Capital Through Portuguese-American Organizations; and Portuguese Language Education: Challenges and Solutions. The conference keynote speaker was H.E. António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations.
