Liu Yi-Sheng, LL.M. '13, S.J.D. '18, Teaches at Providence University

Liu Yi-Sheng, LL.M. '13, S.J.D. '18, has taken a position teaching at Providence University in Taichung City, Taiwan.
Liu teaches in the College of Humanities and the Department of Law. He teaches courses on research methodology for masters and doctoral students; the Constitution, and public international law for undergraduates; and housing and urban planning law for masters and undergraduate students.
In addition, Liu is conducting research in the field of legal informatics. His team is using data analytics skills and pioneer information technology to help legal professionals. He is also helping Taiwanese indigenous students to learn the law. "Providence University has a mission of equalization of educational opportunity and social justice," Liu said. "I am working on tutoring indigenous students to help them learn better."
Providence was founded by Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in southwest Indiana.
