Alumni, Visiting Professor, Named to Leadership of Indiana Landmarks
09/20/2018
Indiana Landmarks members elected new directors and announced the team of officers. The newly elected directors will serve three-year terms expiring in September 2021, and among them are two alumni of the IU McKinney School of Law.
Peter J. Sacopulos, '88, Terre Hauge, is an attorney in the family firm, Sacopulos Law, where he specializes in equine law. He lives in an historic home and, with partners, he redeveloped a historic building in downtown Terre Haute.
Beau F. Zoeller, '12, Indianapolis and Clark County, is a public finance attorney in the Indianapolis and Louisville offices of Frost Brown Todd who has been involved on several projects that rehabilitated historic structures. His grandmother Judy O’Bannon, a former Indiana Landmarks director and former First Lady of Indiana, inspired his interest in historic preservation. O'Bannon serves as secretary emerita for the organization.
The board elected a new slate of officers for the coming year, including Visiting Professor Randall Shepard, who will serve as honorary chairman, and Thomas Engle, '96, who will serve as assistant secretary.
