Wendy Fisk Celebrates 35 Years at IU McKinney
11/10/2018
Wendy Fisk, Administrative Assistant to the Vice Dean at IU McKinney, was recently honored for her 35 years of service to the law school and the IUPUI campus. The Chancellor's Staff Recognition Ceremony took place in October 2018.
Fisk has spent her career serving the law school, beginning in 1983 as a Faculty Assistant for Professors Greenberg, Leonard, and Torke. She moved into her current position as the Assistant to the Academic Dean, as the Vice Dean was then known, in 1986 when Professor Torke moved into that role.
The thing Fisk likes best about her job is "all the people I work with," she says. And her favorite memory is moving into Inlow Hall. "Going from concrete block walls and linoleum floors into cherry-paneled walls and terrazzo floors was a major upgrade," she said. "The new building is still beautiful."
In this photo, Fisk, second from left, is with Camy Broeker, Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration, far left, IUPUI Chancellor Nasser Paydar, who is standing to the right of Fisk, and Juletta Toliver, Senior Human Resources Director/Director of Financial Services.
