Pet Therapy Day Highlighted in Indiana Lawyer Story
12/03/2018
The Ruth Lilly Law Library's exam stress relief day for the Fall 2018 semester was the subject of a story in the Indiana Lawyer. The piece, featuring a photo of Kitty Stephens, Assistant Business Manager of the library and the organizer of the event each semester, was published on November 30.
The story notes that the event has been going on since 2012, and has grown to include activities and games on the library's third floor. Therapy pets from organizations like the Indiana Canine Assistant Network, Judges and Lawyers Assistance Program, Healing Paws, and Love on a Leash, took part. Dave Jaynes, who most people around IU McKinney recognize for his work behind his camera, brought his German Shepard, Brody, who has been certified as a therapy dog. Jaynes and Brody often work at Riley Hospital for Children. In the photo from left are Nigelle Radoc, 1L Thomas Jones, Brody, and Jaynes.
