Sports and Entertainment Law Society Hosts 'Motorsports and the Law' Panel

The Sports and Entertainment Law Society, a student group at IU McKinney, hosted a panel discussion titled "Motorsports and the Law." The event took place at Inlow Hall on February 12.
Panelists included Jimmie McMillian, '02, in the photo at left, and Wes Zirkle, '01. McMillian is Senior Corporate Counsel at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, IndyCar, Indianapolis Motor Speedway Productions, and Clabber Girl. He began his legal career at the Indianapolis office of Barnes & Thornburg, where he was a partner before moving to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Zirkle is a partner at Keller Macalusco. Previously, he spent 12 years as Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Just Marketing International, or JMI, which is now part of CSM Sport & Entertainment.
