Professor Judith Wright, '84, Receives IU Trustees' Teaching Award

Professor Judith Wright, '84, a clinical assistant professor of business law at the IU Kelley School of Business, has received a 2019 Indiana University Trustees’ Teaching Award. These awards are given to top faculty at Indiana University in recognition of demonstrated teaching excellence. In addition, Professor Wright also received the Teaching Excellence Award for the Kelley School Evening MBA Program. Students in the program nominate and select the award recipient in recognition of outstanding classroom instruction.
Professor Wright teaches law courses in Kelley School many programs, including undergraduate, Masters in Business Administration, and Graduate Accounting. This is her third Trustees’ Teaching Award; she received the recognition in 2015 and 2013.
Wright is a senior faculty fellow with the Indiana University Mosaic Initiative, a program that supports innovative classroom design, research and active learning in IU classes. She recently received a grant from the Mosaic initiative to conduct research on active learning in her classrooms. Professor Wright will be recognized for the awards at IU Kelley School commencement exercises on May 11. She is a member of the IU McKinney Alumni Association Board of Directors.
