Rick Hovde, '80, Katie Marshall, '13, Honored by ITLA

Two IU McKinney alumni have been honored by the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association: Rick Hovde' 80, and Katie Marshall, '13. A story about them appears in the June 12 issue of Indiana Lawyer.
Hovde was presented with the association's Lifetime Achievement Award. He practices with the law firm Hovde Dasow & Deets in Carmel. He has tried more than 110 jury trials, and has been practicing law for nearly 40 years.
Marshall received the Max Goodwin Young Lawyer of the Year award. She began working as a receptionist at her law firm, Glasser & Ebbs in Indianapolis, after completing her undergraduate degree in criminal justice. She was one of IU McKinney's evening program students, and began practicing in the area of personal injury and civil litigation after completing her legal education.
