Doneisha Posey, '14, Named Executive Director of Employee Diversity, Equity and Belonging at Ivy Tech

Doneisha Posey, '14, has been named to the newly created position of Executive Director of Employee Diversity, Equity and Belonging at Ivy Tech Community College. In this job, she will serve as Ivy Tech's diversity and equity compliance officer, and will be responsibility for working with teams across campuses. She will be responsible for designing ideas to increase employee engagement and will measure the college's effectiveness in serving the needs of faculty and staff.
Prior to this, Posey served as Deputy Director and General Counsel at the Indiana Civil Rights Commission. She also teaches Housing Discrimination and Segregation, and Race and the Law as an adjunct professor at IU McKinney.
Earlier in her career, Posey served as legal advisor for the Governor's Commission on Minority and Women Business Enterprises, administrative law judge at the Indiana Civil Rights Commission, and as an immigration litigation attorney in private practice.
