12/02/2019
Professor Fran Quigley, '87, has published an article, "Faith in Medicare for All," at Emory University's Canopy Forum. The digital publication is part of the Center for the Study of Law and Religion at the university.
In the piece, Professor Quigley writes about the lessons taught by the Christian, Muslim, Jewish, and Buddhist leaders that were interviewed for the weekly Faith in Healthcare newsletter. He started the newsletter in January with Jessie Wise, '17. The goal of the newsletter is to spread the word about the work that people from all religious traditions are doing as part of their desire to care for the ill.
Professor Quigley teaches in the Health and Human Rights Clinic at IU McKinney. He is the author of Prescription for the People: An Activist's Guide to Making Medicine Affordable for All, published by Cornell University Press in 2017.
