Pervin Taleyarkhan, '13, was named the Outstanding Young Zarathusthi Professional for 2020 by the World Zarathushti Chamber of Commerce. The event took place January 4.

Taleyarkhan is Legal Counsel for Patents at Whirlpool Corporation in Benton Harbor, Michigan. She has served on the Board of Editors for the ABA Yournal, and was chosen as a Young Lawyer Fellow for the Section on Intellectual Property Law. She served as an assistant editor for Landslide, the publication for the ABA's Section on Intellectual Property Law. She was editor-in-chief of the Indiana Health Law Review while at student at IU McKinney. Taleyarkhan was honored by the ABA's IP Section in April 2019 in "Recognition for Outstanding Leadership Contribution."
