Professor Jones Presents at AALS

Professor Joshua Jones presented at the recent Association of American Law School's annual meeting in Washington, D.C. His talk was part of the AALS Legal Writing Reasoning and Research Section’s New Scholars Showcase, and it took place on January 4.
Professor Jones' talk was titled, "Title IX’s Substantive Equity Mandate for Transgender Persons at American Law Schools." He was one of three selected from the LWRR Section membership. It is for professors with 1-7 years of teaching experience. His paper will be published in the New York University Review of Law and Social Change in Spring 2020.
Professor Jones is a Visiting Assistant Clinical Professor of Law at IU McKinney, where he teaches Legal Communication and Analysis. He received a bachelor of music education degree, cum laude, from the University of Montevallo, a J.D. from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law, from which he also received a master's of education law; and an LL.M. with distinction from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law.
