S.J.D. Colloquium Features Abdulrahman Alwashali, LL.M. ‘16

Abdulrahman Alwashali, LL.M. ‘16, discussed the thesis he’s writing for his Doctor of Juridical Science degree during an S.J.D. Colloquium at IU McKinney. The presentation took place at Inlow Hall on March 12.
Alwashali talked about “The Right to Privacy as a Health Human Right in Saudi Arabia.” His presentation included a discussion of the right to privacy in Islam, the traditional Islamic perspective in the role of health and human rights, and gender equality. He hopes to utilize his research in making recommendations for potential changes to privacy laws in Saudi Arabia.
