Hall Center for Law and Health Moves Grand Rounds Online

While many gatherings have been cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak, IU McKinney School of Law Hall Center for Law and Health is still convening Grand Rounds as online Webinar events.
Two Grand Rounds on April 16 and April 30, both from 4:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m., will now be Zoom Webinars offering 1.0 hour of Indiana (Distance Education) CLE credit.
On April 16, “Regulating Chemical Exposures: Using Legal Epidemiology to Determine Enforceable PFAS Standards” will be presented by Professor Montrece Ransom, Senior Public Health Analyst, Centers for Disease Control and Professor, Walden University.
Professor Ransom, JD, MPH currently serves as a Senior Public Health Analyst and is the Team Lead for Public Health Law Training and Workforce Development with the Public Health Law Program (PHLP) in the Center for State, Tribal, Local, and Territorial Support at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

On April 30, “Approving Opioids” will be presented by Professor Patricia Zettler of The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law.
Patti Zettler is an assistant professor at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and a member of Ohio State’s Drug Enforcement and Policy Center and its Comprehensive Cancer Center. She teaches and writes on the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA), health law, torts, and administrative law. She also advises various groups and organizations on FDA law and policy.
