Nathan J. Feltman, ’94, has taken on a larger role at IBJ Media. He is now president and CEO at the company, and owns 50 percent of the business, up from his previous 33 percent stake. A story about the change was published by IBJ. (Subscription required)

Feltman owned and served as CEO of Home Health Depot, Inc. and Genesis Healthcare Services, LLC, providers of complex rehabilitation, respiratory, hospice and home accessibility equipment until its eventual sale to Lincare, Inc. in 2017. 

Feltman was a partner with the law firms Faegre Baker & Daniels and Ice Miller, in Indianapolis, and Altheimer & Gray in Chicago, where his practice focused on representing public and private companies with their merger and acquisition activities, as well as advising local governments on public-private partnerships and economic development strategies. Before his U.S. legal experience, Feltman spent nearly four years in Moscow, Russia, with the international law firms Baker & McKenzie and Steptoe & Johnson, where he represented multi-national companies seeking to do business in Russia.

Appointed by then-Governor Mitch Daniels, Feltman served as Secretary of Commerce for the State of Indiana and CEO of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation. 

Feltman holds a bachelor of science in business from the Kelly School of Business and a bachelor of arts in political science from the School of Arts & Sciences, Indiana University-Bloomington.  He received his law degree from Indiana University McKinney School of Law, and an LL.M. in Russian Law from the Institute of State and Law, Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow, Russia).

Feltman serves on the Board of Directors of the National Bank of Indianapolis, the Liberty Fund, the Pierre & Enid Goodrich Foundation, the Mitch Daniels Leadership Foundation, and the Indiana Chapter of the ALS Association. Feltman also serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council for the Hamilton Lugar School of Global & International Studies and the Past National Chair’s Council of the Indiana University Alumni Association. Feltman is a member of the law school’s  Board of Visitors. He was presented with the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law Board of Visitors and Alumni Association Board’s Distinguished Alumni Award in 2018.
