Emily Munson Discusses Employee Accommodations During Pandemic with Indianapolis Star
05/19/2020
Employees who have underlying health concerns may fear returning to work now that some businesses in Indiana are reopening. Emily Munson, ’10, LL.M. ’17, discusses options employees have for seeking accommodations in a story that appeared in the Indianapolis Star.
Munson is senior attorney at Indiana Disability Rights. “Reasonable accommodations for coronavirus depend upon the employee's particular disability and job duties,” Munson said in the story. “Examples would include adaptive PPE, continuing to work from home, flexing a work schedule to avoid interacting with others, permission to continue remotely meeting with clients, leave for a designated period of time, or transferring to a different position.”
