A Message from Dean Andrew R. Klein
06/18/2020
Dear Alumni and Friends,
Seven years ago—although it seems like just yesterday—the IU McKinney community gathered at Victory Field for the opening pitch of my tenure as dean. I acknowledged then what I maintain today: Being dean of our law school is the greatest honor of my professional life.
Thank you for being an important part of our team. You have demonstrated, over and over, your dedication and loyalty to IU McKinney, and in countless ways. I want to take this opportunity to convey the depth of my personal gratitude.
In some ways, this is just a seventh-inning stretch for me. I am returning to the faculty, and you will find me back in the classroom beginning in the 2021-22 academic year. I truly enjoyed my years as dean but look forward to working more closely with students in the years ahead.
I also look forward to maintaining our friendship. As you know, we are currently experiencing a tumultuous time in the world. My wish for each of you is continued health and well-being. You are important players in the future of IU McKinney, and I am ever grateful for all you do.
Sincerely,
Andrew R. Klein
