Britt Sutton, '16, Named President and CEO of ArtMix

Britt Sutton, ’16, was recently named President and CEO of ArtMix, an Indianapolis disability arts organization.

Sutton, former associate director for the Hall Center for Law and Health at IU McKinney, has been an advocate for people with disabilities in her professional life and as a volunteer with Best Buddies. Before attending law school, she worked as an Applied Behavioral Analysis therapist for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
During law school, she focused on healthcare law, advocacy and policy while pursuing her juris doctorate. She was the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) Legal Fellow at the Riley Child Development Center and the inaugural Michael and Nancie Freeborn Civil and Human Rights Fellow. Her fellowship research and work concentrated in health law and policy for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities with an emphasis on maternal and child health.
