Five of Nine Marion Superior Court Finalists are IU McKinney Alumni

The Marion County Judicial Selection Committee has given nine names for the governor to choose from to fill three vacancies coming up on Marion Superior Court. Of those nine individuals, five are alumni of the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
Magistrate Judge Marshelle Dawkins Broadwell, ’01, is among those under consideration for the bench in Marion Superior Criminal Division 1 after Judge Barbara Cook Crawford, ’87, retires.
Magistrate Judges Ryan Gardner, ’04; Danielle Gaughan, ’84; and Jeffrey Marchal, ’94 are under consideration for the bench in Marion Superior Civil Division 10.
Magistrate Judge Jason Reyome, ’00, is under consideration for the bench in Marion Superior Juvenile Division after Judge Marilyn Moores, ’81, retires.
The committee is led by Indiana Supreme Court Justice Mark Massa, ’89; and Indiana Court of Appeals Judge Cale Bradford, ’86. Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb has 60 days in which to make his selections.
