Winner of Indiana Attorney General Race is IU McKinney Alumnus Todd Rokita, '95

Todd Rokita won the race for Indiana Attorney General in the 2020 General Election. Rokita, ’95, served as a member of the United States House of Representatives from Indiana’s 4th congressional district from 2011 to 2019. He served two terms as Indiana Secretary of State from 2002 to 2010. Rokita began his legal practice as general counsel in the Indiana Secretary of State’s office.
Rokita's oldest son suffers from Angelman syndrome. The family is active in promoting awareness of the syndrome, participating in and organizing charity walks related to Angelman. A commercial-rated pilot, Rokita volunteers his time by flying people in need of non-emergency medical care to hospitals and clinics throughout the Midwest for treatment with organizations that include Veterans Airlift Command and Angel Flight.
