Fernanda Beraldi, Senior Director of Ethics and Compliance at Cummins Inc., has been appointed to a committee on values, ethics, social responsibility, and pastoral services at IU Health. A story about this appears in the Indianapolis Star.

Beraldi began her Master of Laws studies at IU McKinney on the American Law for Foreign Lawyers track, but switched to the Corporate and Commercial Law track and became the first student to graduate on this track. She also was the first foreign-barred lawyer to be admitted to the Indiana bar under the business counsel rule. The rule allows for a business counsel license for an attorney admitted to the practice of law elsewhere who will work in Indiana for an Indiana-based company. Beraldi is also the first Master of Laws graduate to serve on IU McKinney’s Alumni Association Board of Directors.
