IU McKinney 1L Gabriela Ocampo Serrano has won a Barnes & Thornburg Diversity Scholarship.

Ocampo Serrano earned her bachelor’s degree in international/global studies, summa cum laude, on the IUPUI campus before enrolling at IU McKinney, where she is a member of the Hispanic Law Society. While an undergraduate student, she served as a student mentor in the Office of International Affairs, and as a Senior Ambassador. In her ambassador role, she collaborated on the creation of IUPUI’s first campus tour given in Spanish.
