Carlton Martin, '12, Named to Top 40 Under 40 by National Black Lawyers Organization

Carlton Martin, ’12, has been named to the National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 organization. Membership in this group is by invitation only and limited to the top 40 attorneys under age 40 in each state who have demonstrated excellence and achieved outstanding results in their careers.
Martin serves as Pro Bono Manager and Counsel at the National Homelessness Law Center in Washington, D.C. The National Law Center on Homelessness & Poverty is the only national organization dedicated to using the power of the law and policy to end and prevent homelessness and to protect the rights of people experiencing it. Martin previously worked as a staff attorney for the Indiana Supreme Court, where he was the Indiana Conference on Legal Education Director and Coalition for Court Access to Justice staff attorney. Prior to that, Martin worked as a deputy public defender for the Public Defender of Indiana. Martin also has taught as an adjunct faculty member at Ivy Tech Community College and Grace College & Seminary.
