IU McKinney 3L Molly Connor Honored with 2021 Bantz Award
04/08/2021
Molly Connor, a third-year law student at IU McKinney who will graduate in May 2021, was selected for the prestigious Dr. Charles R. Bantz Award for Excellence. Connor was chosen from among the 2021 IUPUI Elite 50 for this honor.
Originally from Columbus, Indiana, Connor came to IU McKinney after graduating from IU in Bloomington, where she studied public management and Spanish. She wants to work in government relations and public affairs, with a focus on education policy. “I chose to go to law school because I knew I would expand my capacity to think critically and analytically, in a way that would help me move the needle on public policy and be a persuasive and thoughtful advocate,” she said. “And I feel that my McKinney experience has had that desired effect.”
Connor was named to the Elite 50 with her classmates Bria Kemp and Taylor Pearson.
Each year, IUPUI honors 50 graduate and professional students who demonstrate excellence beyond the classroom—in areas such as campus leadership, scholarly work, and community engagement. These IUPUI Elite 50 represent the best of the best among IUPUI’s graduate and professional students and capture everything that makes IUPUI exceptional.
