IU McKinney Alumnae Discuss Diversity in ABA IP Law Section Event

Two alumnae of IU McKinney played a big role in a panel discussion during the ABA IP Law Section’s annual meeting: Pervin Taleyarkhan, ’13, and Angela Freeman, ’12.
Freeman moderated “Promoting a Culture of Inclusion and Diversity in IP Law” and Taleyarkhan was a co-organizer of the panel event. They plan to turn the discussion ibto an article that will be featured in an upcoming issue of the IP Section’s “Landslide” magazine. The talk was part of the 2021 ABA-IPL Section Annual meeting, which took place on April 16.
Freeman is an intellectual property law partner at the Indianapolis office of Barnes & Thornburg. Taleyarkhan is legal counsel at Whirlpool Corporation and director of the USPTO Clinic IU McKinney.
