Five Students Taking Part in IU McKinney's Rural Justice Initiative

The Supporting Rural Justice Initiative at IU McKinney is in its third year and there are five students taking part during summer 2021. The program is the result of a partnership between the law school and the Indiana Supreme Court. Professor Joel Schumm, ’98, director of the law school’s Judicial Externship Program, is working with the students, all of whom are entering their second year of law school.
- Alexandra Jones will work in White County.
- Maggie McMillan will work in Fountain County with Judge Stephanie Campbell, ’96. This is Judge Campbell’s third year taking part in the program.
- Abraham Philips will work in Montgomery County.
- Hunt Reynolds will work in Orange County, where he lives.
- Emma Wischmeier will work in Jennings County; she lives nearby in Bartholomew County.
