Jeff Papa, J.D. '99, LL.M. '10, Named Editor of Mensa Research Journal

Jeff Papa has been appointed editor-in-chief of the Mensa Research Journal. Papa received a J.D. in 1999 and an LL.M. in 2010 from IU McKinney. He is chief of staff and general counsel for the Indiana Senate.
Papa joined American Mensa in 1996 and is a member of the Central Indiana chapter. After earning his B.S. from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and M.A. from Ball State University, he received a Ph.D. in education leadership and administration from Indiana State, and a graduate certificate in higher education and student affairs from IU Bloomington. He also completed the Academy for Teaching and Learning Leadership at Marian University.
Papa previously was an attorney with Barnes & Thornburg, practicing immigration law, and served two terms as chair of the Indiana chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers’ Association, as well as two terms on the national board of governors of the American Immigration Lawyers’ Association. He served as Zionsville, Indiana’s first mayor, and previously served as president of the town council, and president of the Board of Police Commissioners. He is now on the Zionsville Community Schools Board of Trustees and volunteers for the Zionsville Lions Club and the YETI Orphanage, which he founded.
Mensa Research Journal is published three times a year by the Mensa Foundation. It highlights scholarly articles and research related to intelligence from a diverse selection of national and international authors.
