IU McKinney Welcomes New Assistant Dean for Office of Professional Development

IU McKinney School of Law welcomes Willow King Locke as new Assistant Dean for the Office of Professional Development.
King Locke joins IU McKinney Law with a wealth of professional experience in career development. During the past 15 years, she has served in various roles, including assistant director of the Career Center at Ball State, director of Pre-Professional and Career Advising in the IUPUI School of Science and, most recently, executive director of Academic Advising and Career Services for the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology. She has also served as chair of the IUPUI Career Services Council.
“I am passionate about helping students explore who they are and setting them on the path to success in finding their dream career,” King Locke said. “I look forward to meeting with students and helping connect them to alumni and employers to meet these goals.”
The IU McKinney Office of Professional Development helps students develop the skills necessary to be successful in their chosen career path, offering one-on-one career counseling, resume and cover letter review and seminars and workshops.
