Professor Quigley, IU McKinney 3L Discuss Eviction Crisis with Indianapolis Media

The Indiana Supreme Court issued an order regarding a statewide pre-eviction diversion program that begins November 1 and Indianapolis media discussed the move with IU McKinney.
Katie Whitley, a 3L at IU McKinney, talked about the Eviction Task Force’s work and the resulting program in which landlord and tenant must agree to take part. That news story was broadcast October 22.
Professor Fran Quigley, ’87, discussed the Supreme Court’s order with the Indianapolis Star for a story that appeared October 22. Professor Quigley and his students in the Health and Human Rights Clinic have been working to provide defenses to tenants at risk of being evicted. He also commented for stories the Star published on the crisis October 24 and October 25.
