Alexis Martinez received the Indianapolis Bar Association’s Pro Bono Student Award. Martinez was honored during the organization’s annual recognition event in fall 2021.

IndyBar singled-out Martinez, now a 2L, for her willingness to volunteer shortly after beginning law school on the Pro Bono Standing Committee. Additionally, she has volunteered at other Indybar events such as the Free Wills Clinic, and assisted with updating the Legal Service Provider section of the Commonly Asked Questions book about Indiana Law. It’s used as a reference for volunteers in IndyBar's pro bono/legal advice programs. .
