Five IU McKinney Alumni Selected for Forty under 40

Five alumni of the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law were selected for the Indianapolis Business Journal’s 2022 Forty under 40 class. They are Michael Allen, ’08; Amber J. Finley, ’11; Sarah MacGill Marr, ’08; Jeremy Morris, ’14; and Megan Savage, ’08.
Michael Allen is a partner at Ice Miller in the public finance group. Among the projects he’s worked on are financing for the new Indianapolis airport terminal, the renovations of Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall and a new hospital in Bloomington.
Amber Finley is associate general counsel at Health & Hospital Corporation of Marion County. Finley began her legal career in New York City before returning to Indiana to work in private practice. She worked in the Indiana Attorney General’s Office and Eli Lilly and Company. before moving to HHC.
Sarah MacGill Marr is a partner at Riley Bennett & Egloff where she is a litigator. Marr also volunteers with the Southern District of Indiana Mediation Assistance Program, where she represents litigants at court-sponsored mediations and has been able to help incarcerated individuals evaluate and resolve claims for constitutional-rights violations.
Jeremy Morris is senior counsel at Taft Stettinius & Hollister, where he is responsible for compliance, investigations and white-collar defense, as well as commercial litigation matters. Morris previously served as an assistant U.S. attorney. He was elected to the Indiana University Board of Trustees in 2021.
Megan Savage is senior director of government and community affairs at The Heritage Group. Savage previously worked for then-U.S. Representative Susan Brooks, ’85, before joining The Heritage Group. In this role, she manages a portfolio of more than 30 companies specializing in heavy construction and materials, environmental services, and specialty chemicals.
