The McKinney Online Innovator Award for 2021-2022 was presented to Professor Yvonne Dutton in recognition of her extraordinary contributions to McKinney’s online programming through teaching and research.

“Professor Dutton was one of our first online faculty and has been a consistent contributor to our online offerings, with several courses offered yearly since 2014,” said Professor Max Huffman, director of online learning at IU McKinney. “Her courses are consistently well received by our students and demonstrate the excellence of online teaching at McKinney.”

Professor Dutton is also a much-read scholar of online pedagogy, with multiple articles published in law journals including the St. Louis University Law Journal, the Denver Law Review, and the Syracuse Law Review. She joins Professors Margaret Tarkington, Carrie Hagan, Allison Martin, Cynthia Adams, Frank Sullivan, and School of Liberal Arts Professor Erin Engels, as an Online Innovator awardee.
