Two IU McKinney Alumni under Consideration for Marion Superior Court

Two IU McKinney alumni are being considered for the Marion Superior Court. One of them could be selected to fill the vacancy being created when Judge Grant Hawkins, ’74, retires in September. They are:
- Mark Kamish, ’00, is a criminal defense attorney with the firm Baldwin Perry & Kamish
- Magistrate Judge Jeffrey Marchal, ’94, serves in the Marion Superior Court
A 14-member judicial selection committee, chaired by Indiana Supreme Court Justice Steven David, ’82, chose three finalists to submit for Governor Eric Holcomb to consider. The governor will make the selection on Judge Hawkins’s successor.
