Michele Johns, '89, to Receive IU Award for Leadership

Michele Johns, J.D. ’89, will receive the IUAA Gertrude Rich Award for her service to Indiana University. She will be honored during the IU Alumni Association’s awards ceremony on June 10.
Johns was active as an undergraduate student at IU in Bloomington and will receive the Gertrude Rich honor in commemoration of her work with the Marching Hundred Alumni group. Johns’ mother, Molly Johnson, received the award in 2005. It is given to IUAA women volunteer leaders who have provided significant guidance to and impact on alumni programs or communities.
Johns is executive director – enterprise risk and insurance at Cleveland Clinic.
