Pervin Taleyarkhan, J.D. ’13, has been named to the Association of Corporate Council’s Top 30-somethings for 2022. The honorees were announced during the group’s Corporate Counsel University meeting in Nashville, Tennessee, on June 21.

Taleyarkhan attributes her career success to the mentors who have guided her throughout her career. “I’ve been blessed to have mentors who never held back advice and told me to never give up an opportunity to learn,” she said in a story about the award. “And that’s my motivation for trying to pay it forward.”

Taleyarkhan is legal counsel for Whirlpool Corporation in Benton Harbor, Michigan. She serves on the Board of Editors for the ABA Journal and is a Young Lawyer Fellow for the Section on Intellectual Property Law. She also serves as an assistant issue editor for Landslide, the publication for the ABA's Section of Intellectual Property Law. She was editor-in-chief of the Indiana Health Law Review while a student at IU McKinney. In addition, she is director of the USPTO Clinic at IU McKinney.
