Two members of IU McKinney Law’s class of 1997 are under consideration for an upcoming vacancy on the Indiana Court of Appeals: Judge Peter Foley and Stacy Uliana.
Judge Peter Foley, J.D. ’97, has served on the Morgan Superior Court since 2015. He practiced in the firm Foley Foley & Penden in Martinsville and served as Morgan County Attorney before being elected to the bench in 2014.
Stacy Uliana, J.D. ’97, is a solo practitioner, working as a criminal defense attorney representing clients throughout the state. Uliana is a summa cum laude graduate of IU McKinney. She teaches trial practice as an adjunct professor at the law school.
Governor Eric Holcomb will decide who will fill the Court of Appeals vacancy when Judge Edward Najam retires in summer 2022.
