Feng Tian, LL.M. ’06, presented a lecture as part of the series titled “Civil Code of the People’s Republic of China.” He discussed “Reconstruction and Update of Guarantee Rule in the Civil Code.” The event took place July 16.

Tian is the deputy director of the internal control management center of Huafa Group, where he also serves as the general manager of the legal affairs department, and the chief legal counsel of the legal risk control and compliance center of Huafa City Operation Investment Holdings Co., Ltd. In addition, Tian is a professor at the School of Civil and Commercial Law of Zhuhai College of Beijing Institute of Technology and a researcher at the School of Humanities of Jinan University. He also serves as deputy director of the Corporate Lawyers Working Committee of the Guangdong Lawyers Association and as director of the Zhuhai Lawyers Association’s Corporate and Public Lawyers Working Committee.
