Three IU McKinney Alumni in Next Round of Interviews for CoA Vacancy

Three of the six remaining judges and lawyers under consideration to fill the upcoming vacancy on the Indiana Court of Appeals are graduates of IU McKinney. The vacancy happened when Judge Derek Molter joined the Indiana Supreme Court in September.
Among those who will be considered during a second round of interviews are:
- Judge Ryan K. Gardner, ’04, Marion Superior Court
- Judge Dana J. Kenworthy, ’01, Grant Superior Court
- Judge Lisa L. Swaim, ’94, Cass Superior Court
The Indiana Judicial Nominating Commission will consider the applicants and hold public interviews of those who are qualified. The commission will select three candidates to submit to Governor Eric Holcomb who will have 60 days to make the final selection.
