11/03/2022
Three IU McKinney School of Law students were recognized in an annual student poster competition in connection with the Indiana Health Law Review Symposium on October 21.
Sponsored by the IU McKinney Hall Center for Law and Health, the poster competition required students to create a poster and discuss their notes with symposium attendees during the symposium luncheon.
Attendees voted on their favorites in two categories:
Best Completed Note: Kasey Barnes was recognized in the category of Best Completed Note for her poster, "Indiana’s Efforts to Reduce Maternal Mortality: Necessary, but Insufficient.”
Best Note in Progress (Tied): Cedric Burnett was recognized for his presentation of "Communal Revival: Why Indiana Should Encourage Communal Living Spaces in Apartment Complexes" and Kaelyn Bowman was recognized for her presentation, “Why Indiana Should Mandate the Implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to Minors with Disruptive Behavior Disorders within Juvenile Detention Centers."
