Congratulations to IU McKinney Alumni Winners in 2022 Mid-term Elections

Alumni of the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law were elected or re-elected to public office during the mid-term election on November 8, 2022. Among them were:
Senator Todd Young, J.D. ’06, who was re-elected to the United States Senate. First elected to the Senate in 2016, he served previously as a member of the House of Representatives.
Marion County Prosecutor Ryan Mears, J.D. ’06, was re-elected to the office he has held since October 2019. Mears took on the role when then Prosecutor Terry Curry, J.D. ’78, needed to step away due to an illness.
Greg Garrison, J.D. ’73, was elected Hamilton County prosecutor. Garrison had previously served as Marion County prosecutor and became known through his successful prosecution of boxer Mike Tyson, who was accused of rape in Indianapolis.
