Shelley Jackson, '07, Named Chair of Practice Group at Indianapolis Law Firm
01/11/2023
Shelley Jackson, J.D. ’07, a partner at Indianapolis-based law firm Krieg DeVault, has been named chair of the labor and employment practice group. Jackson is a member of IU McKinney’s Black Alumni Council.
Throughout her career, Jackson has focused her practice on health law, employment law, professional license defense, and data privacy and security. She joined Krieg DeVault in 2020 after serving as assistant general counsel at Elanco, and in private practice first at Ice Miller and then at Plews Shadley Racher & Braun.
Jackson serves on the board of directors for The Milk Bank, as a corporate advisory board member for Reveal Risk, and as a member of the Indiana Bar Foundation’s civil education committee. She and other IU McKinney alumni formed Indy Lawyers for Black Lives, which staged a Juneteenth commemoration in summer 2020. The event highlighted the important roles attorneys play in fighting systemic racism and racial injustice.
Krieg DeVault’s labor and employment practice group had been chaired by Amy J. Adolay, J.D. ’01, who continues her service on the law firm’s five-member executive committee.
