IU McKinney School of Law was represented during the 16^th annual Champions of Diversity Awards. The event is sponsored by Indiana Minority Business Magazine, a sister publication of the Indianapolis Recorder. The ceremony took place on January 13 in downtown Indianapolis.

The list of honorees includes individuals and organizations that have shown a commitment to diversity in Indiana and  have made an effort to impact the state’s minority communities.

IU McKinney graduates among the award recipients include:

• Cindy Booth, J.D. ’91, executive director at Child Advocates. The organization was honored for its work.
• Angela B. Freeman, J.D. ’12, partner at Barnes & Thornburg
