Four IU McKinney Alumni in Running for Two Vacancies on Marion County Bench

The Marion County Judicial Selection Committee announced the six nominees for the governor to consider to fill the judicial vacancies left by two judges who have retired from the bench. Four of the nominees are graduates of the IU McKinney School of Law. Those people are:
- Stephen Creason, J.D. ’00, an attorney with the Indiana Supreme Court
- Magistrate Judge Jason G. Reyome, J.D. ’00, of the Marion Superior Court Civil Division
- Magistrate Judge Marie L. Kern, J.D. ’98, of the Marion Superior Court Family Law Division
- Charles F. Miller, J.D. ’05, who serves as a member of the Indiana Parole Board
The committee is chaired by Indiana Supreme Court Chief Justice Loretta Rush. The names were presented to Governor Eric Holcomb January 31. He has 60 days to make his selections.
